Hawaii Update

My week in Hawaii was amazing! I got to meet a lot of other Christian dancers, spread encouragement and hope through dance, and learn more about worship and bringing dance back to the church.  It's so sad that dance has gotten a bad rap in the church world. It's such a beautiful way to express praise and glory to God. Many people have been touched this week through the power of dancing for Jesus--myself included.  We head to Mexico VERY early Monday morning. I'll be sad to leave Kona but excited to see what else God is going to do and teach me.  Continued prayer is appreciated. The climate is hot and humid and physical activity takes a toll on body and mind. But God is faithful. I don't do well with change, unknown schedules, and heat and the fact that I'm functioning quite well despite all three of those happening frequently shows that God is hearing and answering your prayers. :) Thank you! Outreach Update

Hey all!  There hasn't been much to say. Just the same old same old. But I realized I haven't said where I'm going in Outreach yet so here goes! I'm technically on Outreach right now. We spent the last two weeks here on base in Lakeside teaching dance classes to the Summer of Dance students. It was so fun and rewarding watching girls enjoy styles of dance they either had never done before or didn't previously like.  Tomorrow we will be flying to Kona, Hawaii to help with Project Dance! It's a big dance conference where various Christian dancers get together and teach/attend master classes, hold auditions, and have a giant dance performance in the public square for all to see. We get to help set up the stage, prepare rooms for guests, and participate in the classes and auditions. It's a great time to fellowship with other Christian dancers. The last five weeks of Outreach will be spent in Ensenada, Mexico. I don't know much about what we will be doing the...
